The third edition of our Culture From Home webinar series puts the spotlight onto two exciting archive projects
Archivissima is bringing an archive festival online via podcasts, and the UK National Archives are reaching out to young audiences through Time Travel TV.

Hear what our presenters have to say and ask your questions, moderated by Susan Hazan, co-chair of Europeana Communicators. Then stay online for our special ‘Tana Libera Tutti’ session, in which the floor is opened to all participants – take the opportunity to discuss your activities and challenges with colleagues from all across Europe.

Speakers:

  • Andrew Payne is Head of Education and Outreach at The National Archives in the UK. He joins us to present Time Travel TV – twice weekly broadcasts for children and families that introduce the treasures of The National Archives and suggest exciting follow-up activities for viewers to complete. Time Travel TV began in April as part of the organisation’s response to the pandemic.
  • Giacomo Golinelli is Chief Operation Officer of Promemoria
Group, the company that founded Archivissima. This June, Archivissima is making its annual Festival of Archives digital, producing a series of short podcasts that showcase archive material. In this webinar, Giacomo will present ‘How to (digitally) transform a festival to let people (physically) enter the archives’.

The formal webinar will be recorded and made available online. The ‘Tana Libera Tutti’ is exclusive to participants on the day -it will not be recorded or shared.

You will receive an email containing details about how to join the webinar when you register for this event.

This webinar is brought to you by Europeana Communicators – a specialist community of the Europeana Network Association – in collaboration with the Europeana Foundation.
